Hello! I’m Noella and so happy you have found me.  I’m a writer and illustrator of graphic novels, focusing on historical fiction for middle grade readers.  I teach early US history to 8th graders and am passionate about children learning the unknown exciting stories of brave youth in our past.

Currently, I’m working on a graphic novel about a girl who runs away from home to join the Union Army as a soldier in the Civil War. I can’t wait for everyone to read it!
